The Reliquary Hand.
Reliquaries are essentially containers for holy relics and I discovered a series of ornate reliquaries of arms and hands, which in fact house the bones and remains of sacred peoples’ arms and hands.
My miniature version is empty – don’t worry! It’s an amuletic sculpture to be worn from a chain. My hand was inspired by the ornate reliquary hands made medieval craftspeople. It's jewellery wearing jewellery and that’s a bit boujie.
Some of my favourite reliquaries are the reliquaries of St Teresa & St Blaise. Check them out!

The Phalloi Ring is back…
Boys in Ancient Rome would have worn these Phallic signet rings as apotropaic jewels, to protect them from witchcraft and the evil eye. The phallus represents the deity Fascinus who was a protector of children. The phallic symbol evoked his protection, and the crude symbol was believed to scare away the nasties.
I love this little phallic ring. I spotted a series of solid gold originals in the British Museum 6 years ago, and I just had to make and have one. I’ve worn it as a pinky ring for years. The willy usually goes unnoticed, but it’s a great little tale to tell if it does catch some attention.
Details:
Phallic signet ring.
Cast in brass and also available in recycled sterling silver.
A chunky band.
An organic molten effect, created with hot jewellers wax, and which imitates an artefact churned around by time.
Made to order in your size. Please be sure of the size you need when you order as I usually size them in wax before having your ring cast.
Up to 4 weeks to produce before delivery. Worth it for a winky on the pinky, though.
Venus.
The Goddess of beauty, love, desire, and sexuality. She’s a sculptural reminder of our inner and outer beauty, and she’s a prompt to be generous with your self-loving.
Venus is a small pendant to be worn from a chain around the neck, or adorning a bracelet. Whilst she is a sculptural piece of art in her own right, she has been created for everyday wear. Her design has been informed by countless museum collections and antiquities in private hands.
Made-to-order. Please allow up to 6 weeks at present. These are not guaranteed to be made in time for Christmas and delivery will resume mid-January.
Nike.
The Goddess of Victory, and a sculptural reminder of our strength. This winged lady has been informed by countless museum collections and antiquities in private hands and, like a classical sculpture, she gleams like radiant gold. Nike is a large pendant to be worn from a chain around the neck, and whilst she is a piece of art in her own right, she has been created for the everyday.
