• A one-off ring featuring 6 green cubic zirconia gems.

• This ring looks like a relic of the past and a piece of treasure that has survived centuries.

• This is actually a happy mistake and a second because the large central green gem and a few other little guys hopped out of place! A couple came out during casting and then I foolishly offered to resize this piece and then the main gem came out from too much bashing and stretching - silly me.

• Anyway, she’s still a beauty and deserves a forever home!

• Inspired by Medieval emerald cluster rings.

• I carved this ring from jewellers wax, set the cubic zirconia gems into the wax model, and then I had it cast into raw golden brass using the ancient-rooted production method of lost-wax-casting.

• The 6 lil gems are cast-in-place and therefore they cannot be guaranteed to stay in place forever. If a gem does escape it cannot be re-set and it should be embraced as an evolving relic of a ring. :)

• Cubic zirconia is the stabilised cubic form of zirconium oxide and it is a synthetic (man-made) material. They are a very hard material.
