• A large stud style earring.

• A cast brass impression of a Romano-British coin featuring emperor Licinius and a dancing satyr.

• I squished the hot coin onto a piece of hard jewellery wax and then peeled it off to reveal this impression.

• The earring is made from raw golden brass and I have soldered a sterling silver ear pin onto the reverse. The pin and the back are both made from 925 sterling silver.

• There are dark copper patina marks and smudges of silver. It looks like a rugged piece of old unearthed treasure.

• Sold as a pair.
