• A one-off ring features one large round cubic zirconia gem and a cluster of smaller cz gems surrounding it.

• Inspired by Georgian and Victorian jewels studded with hand-cut smoky diamonds.

• I carved this ring from jewellers wax, set the cubic zirconia gems into the wax model, and then I had it cast into raw golden brass using the ancient-rooted production method of lost-wax-casting.

• 2 lil gem hopped off during casting and a couple of his mates drowned have gone a bit frosty, but this is still a beautiful one-of-a-kind ring with sparkle.

• The 11 gems are cast-in-place and therefore they cannot be guaranteed to stay in place forever. If a gem does escape it cannot be re-set and it should be embraced as an evolving relic of a ring. :)

• Cubic zirconia is the stabilised cubic form of zirconium oxide and it is a synthetic (man-made) material. They are a very hard material and are usually colourless.

• Please note that the back of the gem does protrude a little but you shouldn’t feel it if you are a size O. If this is too small for you this may be a little uncomfortable against your finger.
