Scarab Amulet

Scarab Amulet
I love a bit of Egyptian revivalist jewellery - and anything scarab!
These scarab amulets have been hand-shaped from some sort of fired clay and glazed in beautiful blues and turquoises.
I bought these beads have been bought as second-hand & I’ve turned them into individual charms by threading them onto raw brass wire which I have tied and knotted.
They’re all a bit different and they’re ready to be looped onto a chain as a charming lil beetle buddy.
The scarab beetle represents new life, regeneration and it’s a lucky apotropaic symbol from Ancient Egypt.
Materials: Fired glazed glay. Brass.
Size: Approx 3 - 4 cm x 1 .6 cm
Weight: 5.1 - 7.5 grams
Bale (loop) size: 5 mm
