• A cast impression of a Romano-British coin featuring a dancing satyr.

• I squished the hot coin onto a piece of hard jewellery wax and then peeled it off to reveal this impression. Then I modelled the rest and made it BLOBBY.

• The wax carving was then cast into raw golden brass using the ancient-rooted production technique of lost-wax-casting.

• I soldered a large brass jump ring onto the coin and there are some tiny visible smudges of silver solder.

• A one-off signed with a lil ‘ROO’.
