This special Charm Necklace features a hand-carved Reliquary Hand holding a tiny baby version of my flaming Ex Voto Heart. The 14ct gold filled chain is cluttered with warm autumnal semi-precious stones. You’ll discover sprigs of vintage coral, globules of glossy deep red garnet & polished pieces of carnelian agate. This piece is inspired by Medieval symbolism & all of the little gemstones are reclaimed and recycled gemstones from faraway lands & seas. We don’t need to mine more stones as there’s an abundance already out there waiting to be reworked and worn.

Necklace Length: 18 inches - clip it securely onto the link to wear it shorter. Leave me a note at the checkout if you need an alternative length but please note this chain only comes in 16 & 18 inches. Additional length is £10 per extra inch.
20 reclaimed gemstones: Vintage coral, garnet, jasper, amber, carnelian agate, tigers eye, vintage mariners shell, lava stone & bamboo coral.
I sculpted this medieval-inspired Reliquary Hand amulet & the tiny flaming heart from jewellers wax & tiny metal tools heated atop a candle’s flame. It has been cast into raw brass using the ancient-rooted technique of lost-wax-casting - I have soldered a lil loop onto the index finger so that the hand is adorned with this lil love token.
The amulets are raw golden brass. I can plate this is Fairmined Gold for an additional £70. Please email post-purchase.
The chain & all of the metal details are made from 14ct Filled Gold - a thick layer of gold is pressure bonded onto base metal. Filled gold is a more durable alternative to gold plate or vermeil.
This charm necklace design is repeatable as I have enough of these delicious gemstones to make a small handful of these. I am very much in love with this design - I do have my cheeky favourites! ;) There will be slight differences as all of the stones are a lil bit different in nature.

Care:
If you've chosen a piece that has a mix of cast brass amulets on a gold filled or gold-rolled chain, you'll need to treat these elements differently when caring for your jewels. You'll recieve a small white polishing pad with your order, which is to be used on the brass amulets only. The white foam pad is very abrasive & will scrub away the natural oxidisation of the metal. Please refrain from using this pad on the chain. The chain itself is 14ct gold filled chain, which means a thick layer of gold is pressure bonded onto a base metal. This is more durable than gold plate or vermeil and the gold makes up 5% of the total piece.
Please don’t wear your charm necklace in water. They’re delicate pieces of art & some of the stones don’t like getting wet. Moisture will also encourage oxidisation of the brass - so if it does get wet please dry it off & store it dry.
Dispatch and delivery:
Please allow me up to 10 days to dispatch your jewel. Altered lengths may take closer to 2 weeks as I may need to order extra components.
