Eros Kilt Pin

Eros Kilt Pin
Eros Kilt Pin
An adornment for your autumn jacket, a chunky knit, a winter coat or even a bag…
A chubby cherub with a dinky belly, a little bottom, a willy, and wings stretched across his back. He’s inspired by the Greek Eros and his Roman counterpart, Cupid. The little minxy god of love and lust can also represent romantic love, love within a friendship, and even selfless love. Eros and Cupid featured heavily in Greek Hellenistic jewellery, and I studied tiny Eros charms and countless pairs of ancient earrings to create this little friend.
I’ve suspended this little guy from a vintage dead-stock kilt pin which has been made from raw golden brass. I’ve carefully selected two juicy reclaimed gemstones to keep him company - a vintage cylinder of speckled blue lapis lazuli & a cloud-shaped cloud so you imagine Eros in flight.
Details:
Kilt pin measures 62 mm in length. About 2.5 inches. Vintage deadstock made from raw brass.
Features a cast brass Eros amulet hand-sculpted & cast in the UK.
Featuring a lapis lazuli cylinder (stoppered with little black pearls) & a cloud-shaped baroque pearl.
The metal wire wrappings & jump rings are 14ct filled gold.
Polishing cloth supplied.
Please don’t wear in water - pearls don’t like getting wet once they’re born! Try to not fall into any bodies of water on your winter walks hehe.
I can make about 3 of these but the pearls and lapis cylinders will vary slightly as they’re natural forms.
Please allow up to 10 days for me to prepare and post this out to you. Email roo@museeroo.co.uk if you need to.
