This lucky Charm Necklace tells tales of mythology & faraway lands veined with precious stones. Spy rich greens, hues of blue, a Romano-British coin & Atlas holding a celestial malachite atop his head.
Details:
Necklace Length: 22 inches. I can make this piece a little longer or shorter, please make your length request in the gift note section at the checkout.
Featuring a cast brass Atlas amulet measuring 4.5cm in length. Atlas was sculpted from wax and cast into raw golden brass.
7 reclaimed gemstones: Atlas holds a striped green malachite stone and the chain is dotted with turquoise, pearls, lapis lazuli, a vintage ceramic scarab beetle and faux howlite turquoise.
A 9ct rolled gold curb chain necklace featuring a dog-clip, a T-bar & a dangling chain at the front.
The wires wrapping the stones & jump rings are all made from 14ct filled gold. Rolled & filled gold is a durable alternative to gold plating whereby a layer of gold is pressure bonded onto a base metal.
The large bolt clasp at the rear is made from raw brass - this is the clasp you should use to take the piece on & off.

Care:
If you've chosen a piece that has a mix of cast brass amulets on a gold filled or gold-rolled chain, you'll need to treat these elements differently when caring for your jewels. You'll recieve a small white polishing pad with your order to be used on the brass amulets. Please refrain from using this pad on the chain, its quite course and will affect the way your gold looks. The gold is pressure bonded onto the base metal surface, rather than just electroplated on the top. This gold bond is much thicker than plate, and the 14ct gold of this chain makes up 5% of the total piece.
Dispatch and delivery:
Please allow me up to 10 days to dispatch your jewel. Altered lengths may take closer to 2 weeks as I may need to order extra components.
